Rick Suarez was born the son of a blue – collar worker and lived next door to his Ellis Island immigrant grandparents. He was a devout Catholic in his youth and planned on becoming a priest. However, things changed dramatically for him, and he became an atheist during the turbulent 60’s. Money and pleasure became his God. He started a business with his brother at the age of 19 and became a millionaire at age 24, with over 150 employees. By God’s grace, he then experienced a dramatic conversion to Christianity. Because of his wealth and wild lifestyle, he struggled to make a wholehearted commitment to the Lord. But through God’s strength, he finally dedicated his life totally to the Lord. He later became an ordained minister, along with being a businessman.
